Christopher Ward needs fresh ideas to build a bridge between its brand and Gen Z. Your concept should focus on how business can engage with this generation in a way that reflects their values of sustainability, craftsmanship, and transparency. It could be a digital experience, a social campaign, a physical or virtual space.

Insight

Time and change are inextricably linked.

We all go through changes in our lives,

and so we all have a relationship with time.

Solution

 

Not to market a watch, but to market the thing a watch measures - I created a video advertisement which depicts change everywhere in the natural environment and how this is reflected in our own lives.

The video communicates the idea that your one great watch is the thing that sticks by you throughout the changes in your life. The implication is that owning a watch engages you with the very substance of life itself, who doesn't want that?

The effect is that a watch for life would be sustainable and create loyal customers; two things Christopher Ward mention they value highly.
